Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that you receive on purchase. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate. Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; or (k) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website, other websites, or the Internet. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia.

Prices and Promotions

Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices quoted on this web site are in Australian dollars and include Australian GST (where applicable).

Occasionally we will offer special promotions to you. This includes a discount on your product, free shipping or other promotional activity associated with a product purchase. If provided with a promotional code, they are limited to one per customer. These offers may be for a limited time only and we reserve the right to end any promotions or discount offers at any time. 

Orders and acceptance

You will receive a confirmation email with details of your order by email. Orders are accepted once payment has been made. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders placed by you. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by email. If payment cannot be verified, your order will be declined.

As all of our products are handcrafted in small quantities here in our locally based workshop, there may be a delay for popular products. We will make every attempt to ensure that our online store reflects the true availability of stock. However, if an item shown online to be available but is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible and either cancel/refund your purchase or suggest a similar product. We will communicate directly with you if there is a delay in the production of an order, and will notify you of an expected completion date.

We are unable to cancel or change any details of your order once it has been placed. If you have any problems with your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve any issues you are having via email.

Privacy Policy

We care about protecting your privacy and the personal information you provide through your online shopping experience with us. Your information is used to complete your order or subscribe you to our email updates (when you elect to stay in touch). We do not store or disclose your personal details, including credit card information, unless required by law to do so.


Shipping and process fees apply to all products. These are in addition to the price of products (unless the total is over $150 guaranteeing free shipping). These fees compensate the cost to process, handle, pack and deliver your purchase to you.

We will endeavour to deliver products to the shipping address specified in your order on or before the estimated delivery date. However, we do not warrant or undertake that it will do so. We will also not be liable for incorrect shipping addresses provided at the time of order.

Our free shipping offer entitles customers residing in Australia to receive free shipping on orders over $150 placed through the Karmine Leather online store.

If you reside outside of Australia and wish for us to send your purchase via international shipping, you will be responsible for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to.

Once your parcel is delivered, risk will be transferred to you. We are not liable in the event that your order is lost or stolen.

Returns Policy

We aim to create products of the highest quality standard. However, if you are unsatisfied with your product please contact us via email and we will seek to resolve any issue you are having with your purchase.

If an item is faulty, defective or if the product does not match the description or purpose for which it was purchased, please contact us within 14 days of the delivery date highlighting full details of your order and product fault to be eligible for an exchange of the product originally purchased. Faulty products are defined by manufacturing fault, goods that are wrongly described or not fit for purpose, goods that have defects not obvious at the time of purchase. Items that are damaged by not adhering to care instructions or a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you wish to return a product for a refund, please contact us within 14 days of your receipt highlighting full details of your order and reasons for returning the product. Please note, items must be unused and in their original condition and we will also require receipt or proof of purchase to be eligible for a refund. Items that are soiled will not be accepted. Returned products must be accompanied by their original box (if applicable). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you wish to receive a refund, cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. Return postage costs will be at your expense.

Leather colours, shade and texture may vary given that each hide came from a wild animal and cannot be accept as reasoning for returns or faults on this basis.

Bespoke or Customised Orders

Due to the bespoke nature of your purchase, once an order is placed we are unable to cancel or amend an order. We are unable to accept returns of bespoke purchases except if your item is damaged or faulty.
